9 Jan 2010 Visit

It's my first experience helping the elderlys to clean up their houses, not as bad as i thought it will be, nevertheless, it was quite an experience. had some laughter and fun conversing with the elderlys and i found out that actually they just need a listening ear most of the time. they are mostly very cute and friendly elderlys who do not mind sharing their stories and daily lives with you. Overall, it has been a great pleasure to work with the ppl in csc and also the folks there!

It was my first visit too, I think it is a very meaningful activity, some of the olf folks are really very lonely and ill, they can't really do the household chores, so by extending out our little help to them would mean a lot to them. Overall it was a very nice experience to be able to help the old follks and work with other members of THE Seniors.

Just to let you guys know about some events that are going to happen in the coming weeks!

1) There is gonna be a CSC day on the 23rd Jan in NUS, probably around noon till 5pm. Facilitators are gladly welcomed.

Get to know people from other CSC groups!

Enjoy the day with fun and laughters together with children and young adults!

2) A tentatively date for our outing has been set aside! - 2oth Feb Sat (its during recess week..) right after our visit in the morning. We are thinking of going Minds Cafe but are open to suggestions so PLEASE voice your thoughts on the tagboard!

-Well if you are too shy.....you can always choose the alternative: email! For girls you can email personally to me tho.....for guys...dun bother....lol..i'm just kidding..)

3) We are thinking of coming up with a club tee...Same again, I'm appealing to people with designs in mind and put all your designs on paper right away! Well if your design is eventually selected, there will be no cash incentives tho..but we can let you sign and print out your autograph on our shirts as well!!Memoriable sia! Most probably your autograph would be like font size 5 - YES this small...Haha...

4)Lastly, our next visit is on the 30th!
